What Are The Forms Which I Can Make Contact With Salicylates
What are the forms which I can make contact with salicylates?
There are two basic forms where you can make contact with salicylates. Since salicylates can be naturally found in most plants, one form is getting in contact with vegetables, fruits, herbs, and other plants. It is relatively true since most of them are abundant in our environment.
Another form is by means of using products and other man-made substances which contains the compound salicylate acid. Some examples of such products are aspirin, which is a derivative of salicylic acid and some solvents to have salicylates.

Does freezing food eliminate salicylates?
Just as the same in cooking food, freezing it does not eliminate its salicylate content. However, there are some individuals who have salicylate intolerance who are able to eat larger portions of frozen vegetables than freshly prepared ones. It is because the salicylate level on frozen foods is relatively lower.
